To ensure that your iOS app can be used in supported cars via Apple CarPlay, it is essential to request CarPlay entitlements for all apps. Without these entitlements, we will be unable to publish the apps. The approval process typically takes 2-3 days.
Steps to Request CarPlay Entitlement:
Visit the CarPlay Entitlement Request Page
Go to developer.apple.com/contact/carplay and log in as the account holder.
Complete the Request Form
Fill out the form with the required information. Make sure to follow the instructions below for each section.
Select App Type
Choose App Type: Audio
Accept the Terms and Conditions
Information to Provide in the Form
App Type: „Audio"
Tell Us About Your App: "We are a radio station providing various music content, including live streams, podcasts, and playlists. The app allows users to access this content."
Specific CarPlay Features: "On CarPlay, we'll support the playback of live streams, podcasts, and playlists. We are mindful of all safety measures, such as not distracting the user while driving."
