If your platform uses Custom Screens that cannot be edited directly in the App Editor, you can configure them here.
Open this page in the Dashboard: Dashboard > Settings > Apps
Click the pencil icon next to the desired app and go to "Custom screens" in the header menu
Custom Screens may appear under different names on your platform, as they can be renamed during your setup process.
The following Custom Screens can be configured here:
News Screen – optimized for displaying news articles with infinite scroll. The top article is highlighted, and a category filter is available in the header.
Video Screen – optimized for video content with large thumbnails and infinite scroll. The first video is highlighted.
App Start Screen – shown after the splash screen when the app launches. Ideal for featuring highlights or promotions.

1. News Screen
Existing Content Categories
You’ll see a list of all content categories currently displayed on the News Screen.
Use the X icon to remove a category from the News Screen. This won’t delete the category itself.
Drag & drop to reorder categories. This changes their order in the category filter shown in your app’s header.
Use the pencil icon to rename how the category is displayed in the filter. If no custom name is entered, the system will use the original category name.
Add a New Category to News Screen
Category: Select an existing content category from the dropdown.
Custom Name (optional): Override the display name in the app’s category filter (e.g., if the category is named “Radio X Updates” but you want it to appear as “News”).
2. Video Screen
Choose the RSS video feeds that should be displayed in the Video Tab.
Important: Only feeds previously imported via RSS can be selected. Learn more about importing RSS video feeds here:
Platform Behavior: If you add multiple feeds, content will be displayed in chronological order (mixed across all feeds).
3. Embeddings
If you haven’t created an embedding yet, start here to create one: Embeddings
Embeddings to present Display Ads: Embeddings are often used to insert display ad elements on Custom Screens via HTML (typically served by your own ad server). If this is your use case please also read this article: HTML-Based Display Ad Integration
