On the Podcast Detail Page, you can create or modify podcast metadata, manage the episode list, and add a sponsor.
Open this page in the Dashboard: Dashboard > Audio > Podcasts
Click on Podcast item
1. Podcast Metadata
Name: The name of your podcast.
Subtitle: Names of the podcast hosts or producers.
Tags: Categories for the podcast. It’s recommended to use no more than 3 tags.
Description: A description of the podcast format (not for individual episodes). You can also include links.
If your podcast was imported via RSS feed, these metadata fields are automatically populated.
2a. Cover Pictures
Cover Image: Required minimum resolution of 1200x1200 pixels. This cover represents the entire podcast series, not individual episodes.
To upload a cover, drag and drop the image onto the designated area or click to open your local file directory.
Note: For podcasts imported via RSS feed, the cover image is automatically uploaded from the feed. If you manually upload a new image, it will be overwritten if a new cover is provided in the RSS feed.
2b. Sponsor
Add a sponsor to each podcast for prominent display across user platforms.
Logo: Use a horizontally elongated logo for best results.
Link: Optional. Add a URL to be associated with the sponsor’s logo.
Sponsor Tag: Optional. Add a message such as "Sponsored by" around the sponsor’s logo.
3. Publishing
Pre-Roll Ads
Checkbox "Enable pre-rolls from external audio ad server": Enable this option to play a pre-roll ad from your external ad server when the Livestream starts. For more granular control of pre-roll settings, refer to the Settings section.
Ensure you complete the setup with your ad server before using this feature.
Show in Search
Checkbox "Show in search": Select this option to include the podcast in search results on your user platforms. Uncheck this box if you prefer the podcast to remain hidden.
Sponsored Content
Check this box if the podcast is sponsored content.
Publish Podcast & Edit Feed Buttons
Publish Podcast: When this action is triggered, all changes will be published immediately.
Edit Feed: This option is only available if you've imported your podcast via an RSS feed. You can access the feed settings through the button, where you can adjust options like auto-update or the feed URL.
User Access Levels
Minimum user type: Define the access level required for users to access this podcast. Options include:
Guest Users: Accessible to all users, including those who are not registered.
Registered Users: Accessible to all registered and premium users (if applicable).
Premium Users: Accessible only to premium users.
Premium Users Access: Available only if a premium model has been set up. To set up a premium model, follow the first steps here:
URL Slug
Slug: Enter a custom slug for your website related to this content. We recommend using the name and separating words with hyphens (e.g., las-vegas-podcast).
4. Podcast Detail Menu
Episodes: Click on "Podcast Episodes" to view the episode list, listen to episodes, or change their order.
