Sections are the core building blocks of your platform’s visual layout. Each screen in the app or website is composed of one or more Sections, each with its own content and design type.
Open this page in the Dashboard: Dashboard > App Editor
Navigate to the App Editor and find the Section list (on the right panel). From here, you can:
Click the red “+” to create a new section
Use the search bar to locate existing sections
Delete a section (irreversible) via the X icon
Tip: You can also edit a section directly within the mobile mockup by hovering over it and clicking the pencil icon.
Section Compatibility
Sections are reusable content blocks, but they are scoped by screen type:
Main Screen Sections can be reused across all Main Screens of all apps
Detail Screen Sections apply only to Detail Screens of the same audio type
Adding a New Section
1. Section Settings
Title (optional)
Displayed above the section on user platforms. Keep it short and clear; long titles may be truncated. Call-to-Action sections do not support titles.Internal Note (required)
Used for internal identification and must follow a clear naming convention. This helps in filtering and reusing sections across apps and screens. Recommended format:[App Name or All Apps] – [Screen Name] – [Section Content]

2. Section Type
Choose a layout that fits your content. We group these into two categories:
Content Section Types
These sections are used to manually place content (custom items) or populate it automatically through Content Categories. The following design types are available:

Functional Section Types
These sections follow specific rules and display dynamic or system-driven content.

3. Content Source
For Content Sections, choose how you want to populate the content:
Custom Items: Manually add individual items.
Select a Content Type (e.g., Audio, Article/Link/Video or PDF)
Click Create new item and search or select content
Use drag & drop to reorder the display sequence
Content Categories: Automatically populate the Section based on a defined category (only for Articles, Videos, or Links). If you want to create a new Content Category, go to Content Categories.
Select a Category
Content is ordered by publish date or prioritized using the “Show at top” setting.
