Manage and create new categories for use with Articles, Videos, and Links.
Open this page in the Dashboard: Dashboard > Settings > Apps
Click the pencil icon next to the desired app and go to "Content categories" in the header menu
About content categories
Content categories are especially useful for automatically populating Sections in the App Editor. Learn more about auto-filling Sections here: Sections Management
In Dashboard > Editorial can categorize the following types of content:
Additionally, you can link an imported RSS feed directly to a category. Once linked, all articles from that feed will automatically be assigned to the selected category.
1. List of Existing Categories
Click x if you want to delete a content category.
Please note:
Categories cannot be renamed after creation.
If a category is linked to an RSS feed, the feed cannot be changed afterward.
In both cases, you'll need to delete the category and create a new one if adjustments are needed.
2. Add a New Category
To create a new category:
Click Add Category.
Name: Enter the name you wish to use for this category.
Feed (optional): If you want to link the category to an RSS feed, select the corresponding feed from the dropdown.
