Contest Setup

Contests let users participate in sweepstakes or prize draws by clicking a participation button attached to an article. Optionally, contests can be extended with interactive Call-to-Actions to collect more user data or engage them further.

Open this page in the Dashboard: Dashboard > Campaigns > Contests

What Is a Contest?

A Contest is essentially a participation button that’s linked to an article. You first create the Contest, then write an article that explains the campaign. The Contest is attached to the article in the article settings.

When a user clicks the Contest button, one of three things happens:

  1. Guest user: If the user is not registered, they are guided through the registration process. Any required Contest fields (e.g., phone number, address) must be completed.

  2. Partially registered user: The user is registered but missing some required Contest information. They are prompted to complete only the missing data.

  3. Fully registered user: The user can participate in the Contest with a single click.

If a Call-to-Action is linked to the Contest, the user is directed to the CTA after these steps.

You can assign the same Contest to multiple apps without any issues. This allows you to centralize contest management while reaching different audiences across your app network. Simply attach the same Contest to articles in the respective apps during the publishing process.
