Updated

To publish updates for your existing apps on the Google Play Store, you need to provide specific information related to your Android Key Store. This ensures that your app updates are signed correctly and trusted by Google Play.

Instructions

  1. Gather Key Store Information:

    • Key Alias: Provide the alias of the key used to sign your Android app. This is a unique identifier for the key within the keystore.

    • Key Password: Supply the password associated with the key alias. This password is required to access and use the key.

    • Keystore File: Provide the keystore file, which may have a .keystore extension or another format. This file contains your key and is necessary for signing the app.

    • Keystore Password: Supply the password for the keystore file. This password is used to unlock the keystore file and access its contents.

  2. Obtain Information:

    • If you do not have this information, you may need to contact your previous Android app developer to obtain the key alias, key password, keystore file, and keystore password.
