✅ Best Practices
1. Use Device-Specific Screenshots
Never use Android mockups in iOS submissions and vice versa
Always use screenshots taken from the correct device type to avoid rejection
2. Include a Clear Title or Caption
Add a short, meaningful title or message to each mockup to communicate key features
Make sure text is readable and not obscured by device elements or overlays
3. Stay Within the Safe Zones
Keep important visual elements and text away from corners and edges
Avoid placing critical information where UI elements or rounded device corners may crop it
4. Avoid Cluttered Layouts
Keep backgrounds clean and neutral to focus attention on the app screen
Don’t overload images with too much text or complex visuals
5. Maintain Consistency
Use a consistent visual style (color scheme, fonts, layout) across all mockups
Ensure your branding is clear but not overpowering
6. Prioritize Key Features
Use mockups to highlight your app’s most compelling features or use cases
Place the strongest or most unique feature first in the sequence
7. Use Real Screenshots
Mockups must reflect the actual user experience; don't use concept designs or outdated UI
Common Mistakes to Avoid
❌ Mixing Android and iOS device frames
❌ Using low-resolution or blurry images
❌ Including outdated designs or logos
❌ Forgetting localization if targeting multiple languages
